Summer Music Series 2017
A variety of seasonal concerts begins July 5 as the Trinity College Summer Chamber Music Series and the Plum Memorial Carillon Recital Series returns as the college hosts performances every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. throughout the summer.
The series is free, open to the public and goes on rain or shine. Parking is available on Summit and Vernon Street.
The Chamber Music Series, which began in 1974, is under the direction of Robert Edward Smith, Trinity College Chapel composer in residence. The opening chamber concert features the Borealis String Trio with Judith Lee (violin), Lu Friedman (viola) and Anne Berry (cello). The series runs through July 26 and will be held in the Trinity College Chapel.
A carillon concert follows at 7 p.m. on the Main Quad which is beside the Chapel. The opening carillon concert features Darren Zhu. This series runs through Aug. 9.

Chamber Concert: Novi Cantori (choral ensemble): Ellen Gilson Voth (director)
Carillon Concert: Ellen Dickinson (Trinity College Carillonneur)
Carillon Concert: Jonathan Lehrer (Vancouver, Can.)
Carillon Concert: Jeremy Chesman (Missouri State University)
