WRTC’s classical music program airs on Sunday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30 PM.

Hosts:    Chet McPhee and Andrew DeRocco

Both are seasoned broadcasters with longstanding love and immersion in the classical
literature.

Chet’s Program :  Sunday Concert

Usually concentrates on the Classical and Romantic
periods and plays works in their entirety.
Commentary on the piece and the composers precedes its performance.

Andrew’s  Program : The Music Room

Typically will include a “large-scale” work — a 19th Century symphony,
together with chamber works — quartets, quintet, piano sonatas, and occasionally voice.
A point is made to include work by less well known composers,
music of the 20th Century and in particular, music of and by American composers and artists.
